S5 is a workshop that provides information and strategies to help students improve academic performance, prepare for college, and maximize the college experience. The strategies will help students improve academic performance and gain the strongest advantages from their college studies.

Session 2: College-Prep Strategies and College-Planning Strategies

- Understanding General Education requirements and selecting courses strategically and meaningfully
- Choosing electives purposefully
- Choosing a minor
- Clubs and activities
- Courses to take for those “not going to college”
FEES
Cost for the full workshop is $100/person. The cost for attending one of the sessions is $65.

WORKSHOP LEADERS
Dr. Greg Stratman, who in 35 years as a teacher and administrator for multiple post-secondary institutions, has worked with every student demographic and has helped thousands of students navigate the world of academics, especially at the college level.
Wes Stratman, a ten-year veteran of math instruction and ACT test preparation, has taught and tutored math subjects from pre-algebra to AP calculus, and understands the strategies for success in math coursework, as well as proven strategies for improving ACT scores.
